Drawbee ("Drawbee", "we", "us", or "our") is a family app that helps parents and guardians capture, organize, and enhance artwork. We take privacy seriously.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. By creating an account or using Drawbee, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Who This Policy Applies To
Drawbee is intended for use by parents and legal guardians aged 18 or older. Artist profiles are created and managed by account holders on behalf of the people whose artwork is being saved.
If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for the information you provide about each artist profile and for supervising use of the app.
3. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate Drawbee:
Account information: your email address and authentication data when you sign in with a one-time passcode.
Artist profile information: names, favorite color, optional character description, and profile photos or avatars you choose to upload.
Drawing content: photos of artwork, optional audio descriptions, mood or note metadata, and AI-enhanced or animated versions you request.
Usage information: feature usage, token balances, subscription status, and in-app preferences such as language and notification settings.
Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, push notification tokens, and diagnostic logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
Payment information: subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google through RevenueCat. We receive purchase and entitlement status, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• provide, maintain, and improve Drawbee;
• authenticate your account and secure access to your family's content;
• store and display drawings in private galleries by default;
• process AI enhancement, animation, and story features you request;
• deliver push notifications you have enabled;
• manage subscriptions and premium features;
• respond to support requests and enforce our Terms and Conditions;
• detect abuse, fraud, and technical issues.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use profile information for behavioral advertising.
5. AI Processing
When you request enhancement, animation, or story generation, Drawbee sends the relevant drawing images and prompts to trusted AI service providers so the feature can be completed. These providers process data on our behalf and only for the purpose of delivering the requested result.
AI outputs are generated automatically and may vary in quality. You remain in control of whether to save, share, or delete generated content.
6. How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers that help us run Drawbee, including:
• Supabase — authentication and account management;
• DigitalOcean Spaces — secure storage of images and media;
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications;
• RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management;
• Apple App Store and Google Play — in-app purchase processing;
• AI providers such as Fal.ai and Google GenAI — image enhancement and story generation when you request those features.
These providers may only use your information to perform services for us and must protect it appropriately. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with appropriate safeguards.
7. Profile Privacy
Drawbee is designed with account-holder-controlled artist profiles and private-by-default galleries. We collect profile-related information only from the account holder who creates and manages the profile.
If you believe someone has provided us information without appropriate consent, contact us at privacy@drawbee.app and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete drawings, artist profiles, or your account, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure cloud storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your family's content.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.
You can:
• update language and notification preferences in Settings;
• delete individual drawings and artist profiles in the app;
• delete your entire account in Settings, which removes your account data from our systems and signs you out;
• contact us at privacy@drawbee.app for additional privacy requests.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. International Transfers
Drawbee may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Drawbee after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
